Susan painted this subject for the Peter O`Sullevan Charity Trust, who used it as their Christmas card for 2017 and the painting was sold with all proceeds going to the Charity at the Annual Dinner held in November 2017.
Susan has always been a lover of horses and for this particular painting which was not a commission, she loved the idea of a horse galloping amongst a beautiful background. Snow was chosen, given that it was going to be a Christmas card and the red head collar, additionally gives the feeling of Christmas.
The painting gave Susan much pleasure, as it embodies her love of the equine subject, the passion for a horse galloping with the horse being in the wild and able to express its spirit and beauty.

Framing
FRAMING (prints on paper): We use a simple classic frame, gold finish over a black ground, approximately 1 3/4 inches (4.4 cm) in width with off-white acid-free mount 2 1/2 to 3 inches (6.5 - 7.5 cm) wide. Pictures are framed under glass and fitted with wire ready for hanging.
For larger pictures that are to be shipped we can use perspex instead of glass for security in transit - we may contact you to discuss this. Frame section shown below:

FRAMING (prints on canvas): We use a simple classic frame with a gold finish and a white slip next to the canvas, approximately 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) in width. Pictures are framed like an oil painting with no glass and fitted with wire ready for hanging. Frame section shown below:

Unframed prints on canvas are supplied unstretched, with a 2 inch white border, rolled and packed in a strong cardboard tube.
All prints are covered in transit by our insurance.
